It is not as bad as I thought it would be. We had a long discussion about CNS. the class is ovber at 4:30pm. I left sachool with Jezel. We got into the bus and reached home at 6pm. I spend the rest of the time reviewing for the quiz tomorrow.
I had a less stressful day because I concentrated on doing what must be done and thinking nothing negative.
I will be sleeping at 9:45pm.

The birthday of Arra happened in room 601. I was happy for her. We had a class on 1pm to 4pm under Mr. Lucas. It was satisfactory. His way of teaching is fast. We had our last subject under Mr. Briones at 4pm and ended at 7pm. I reached home and ate my dinner. I quickly do my assignment in the 6th floor under Mam Dacuno. I finished at 10pm. I will sleep at 10:45pm.

I slept early last night. I woke up at 8am today. I was still sleepy at that time but I managed sto stay awake. I immediately took a bath at 8:30am and after that I used the internet. I was occupied with using the internet. I played the online deal or no deal. I realized that my father was no longer on the top of the leader board. The database must been reset. I noticed that there is an increase of player numbers in online deal or no deal from 0 players last 3 months to 6 players today. The rise in online players was due to the reset of the leader board. More players gained interest in playing deal or no deal to reach the top of the leader board ladder. I played the game thrice today. I played for a jackpot of 11,300,000 dollars but did not won. The jackpot was on its standard amount on my 2nd game this afternoon. I had my harsh bad luck in this game today. I had switched my original case containing $5,000,000 to another case that held $75. I was done on my 3rd game without nothing significant at 4pm.
I also listened to dramatic, easy listening songs at www.imeem.com. I liked how fast the playback for each mp3 file songs. I only used youtube if ever my interest is more on the video. I listened to “Lady” by Lionel Ritchie, “You’ll be in my heart” and “Separate Lives” by Phil Collins and some songs of the 1990s. The songs stated above have similarities that involved my emotional side. I am a simple lover, kind and unique but also sensitive. “Lady” shown me how to love someone and feeling the emotions when the one you love is gone. “Separate Lives” made a big impact in making me feel sad for couples who didn’t last long. I ended my melancholic reminiscence at 11am.
I also played my all-time most favorite RTS-computer game, Battle Realms. I had played this game since 2nd year high school. It was introduced to me when my friends played in a computer shop with the game as our primer. Since that day I was in loved with the game itself. This year, I did not managed to be a pro or expert in this field because of my anxiety complex. I was also irritated on how our graphics/ monitor condition had altered the best visibilty of the game. I failed to complete 2 out of 3 games due to this condition. My last game was at 4:30pm.
I watched some TV shows that I failed to finish at least one of them. All were plain and boring. Most shows of ABS-CBN were quite repetitive and did not match my taste level. I switched to watching shows on “2nd avenue” if you have a cable and my interest to TV5 increased since I watched “my MVP: A reality basketball search.” I only spend watching TV for 45 minutes at least.
At 6pm, I took the initiative to make today’s blog post because of nothing interesting to do. I firmly believe I will sleep at 9:30pm. We will have our class at 8am on “Modalities of Treatment.”
Good night!

I woke up at 4am to attend duty. I left home at 5:15am and reached school at 5:30am. I quickly fixed my self for the duty. At 6am, we are ow on the 6th floor. When we will be going to our assigned patients, unluckily mine was asleep. At 8am, the patient refused further vital signs taking for both mother and newborn because they demand sufficient time for rest.
I managed to be on the nurse station looking at the other charts. I was unable to do any baby bath for the baby. At 8am, I had my breakfast. I ate at the hospital canteen and the breakfast costed 60 pesos. I personally believe that the price was not worthy for the food since the dish served are small enough for the big price. I returned to duty at the right time. I am aware that the patient and the baby are ready for discharge that’s why Mrs. Dacuno helped us to make a health teaching.
At 10:35am, I and Rose had started a health teaching and it ended with positive feedbacks. I left the room and had my lunch at 11:10am. I ate with Arra, Jay, Kai, LJ and Mark. The price of the lunch I had is 60 pesos but this time I am contented on what was served. We returned to dut at 11:55am. I and Arra were given an endorsement from Leslie. Arra thought that Leslie tasked her to take the vital signs at 12 noon. I monitored the IV regulation that must be 32 drops in 1 minute. I and Arra had a very long conversation with the patient there that took as 1 hour. The doctor visited the patient which prolonged our stay because we took the opportunity to listen. We said our farewell for the mother at 1:10pm. Mrs. Dacuno had finished her lunch before 1:10pm. She asked us all to finish our charting. Arra realized that Leslie did not tasked her to take the 12 noon vital signs when we had seen the TPR sheet. Leslie confirmed that she did not asked us to take the vital signs at 12 noon after her lunch.
It was 1:20pm, I was in a hurry to finish my charting. The patient that was assigned to me left at 12 noon. I written all the valuable information about the patient on the chart. I had also done cord care before discharge. I had a long nursing intervention to an appropriate nursig diagnosis.
At 1:45pm, I and Rose no longer endorsed our patients verbally because they are already discharged. The group prayed at 1:55pm and were dismissed after that.
I left school at 2:15pm. I got in the jeepney on the way home with Jezel and her mom. I reached hme at 3:45pm. I cleaned my self and made my self comfortable in the house. I used the computer at 4pm to evening. I am planning to use the computer until 10pm.
It has been a partially busy day and all was done and appreciated.
GOOD NIGHT!

I woke up at 4am and left home at 5am. I reached school on time. We had arrived to the 6th floor front at 6am. I had got the endorsements from the night shift. Everything was well. I was assigned to the baby on room 609E. I am responsible for the care of the baby with some supervision of either nurse or the clinical instructor. Mam Dacuno did not have a good morning because of personal reasons.
The mother was still asleep at 6am that’s why I was occupied with the work on changing bed linens on room 612C. I was happy that I was assigned in that room with 2 classmates to share with. Anyway, I was clueless during the change of bed linen. It is like that I am block minded. Anyway, at least I did not appear stupid or something in the end. I observed my fellow groupmate in giving a bath for the baby. I was partially anticipating a difficult bathing due to my anxiety complex. The mother was now awake at 9am. i TOOK MY BASELINE VITAL SIGNS AS WELL AS THE 8AM VITAL SIGNS AND PLOTTED IT ON THE TPR- sheet. I used a pencil in doing that.
It was time that I give bath to the baby at 10am but Mrs. Dacuno was occupied with giving a bath for the neonate with Mr. Mangosong. I was with the nurse on the duty in bathing the baby. I had a little chance on touching the baby when giving the bath. Actually, I didn’t handled the baby at hand because the nurse tried as swiftly as she could to finish the job. I remidned her that I will be responsible for the lower and upper extremities but she still continued.
I felt disappointment that all the guys assigned to the baby had achieved giving bathe to the neonate but I don’t. I had also the chance to know what Erika and Leslie are doig in their assigned patient. I was felt relief that I did not handled the patient the are currently handling. They had a very toxic job in taking care of the patient who is on bed rest. It is difficul to change bed linens if the patient is lying on the bed.
We did ot had any lunch breaks because of the very toxic duty we had. Mam Dacuno said that it is her first that she did not had a lunch in her duty. Anyway, it was 1:30pm and we are getting the needed information for our endorsements. At 2pm, we are over with the endorsements.
Before I got home, I went to jolibee and had lunch there. It was a good thing to be indulged in my favorite fast food chain. I left jolibee at 2:30pm. I reached home at 3:30pm. It was partially raining when I got home but the coldness of the afternoon made me feel very comfortable of the day.
I used my free time in doing what I desire. I used the internet and uploaded new pictures on friendster.
I will be sleeping maybe at 9pm or 10:00pm.
Good night!

It was very cold morning. It was about 5am that I left home and reached school at 5:25am. It is our orientation on our 6th floor duty. Mam Dacuno was our clinical instructor. She had a cough that’s why her voice quality was not that good. The orientation was scheduled on IMCI room starting from 6am to 12noon. We introduced our self first and our expectatins in the duty.
The orientation started with several do’s and don’ts and other policies to be observed. Information was given and most of those will appear in the quiz. Anyway, I was a bit happy that the quiz will be made tomorrow. We had 2 breaks, the first one was at 8am and the other at 11am. At 8am,, I ordered 2 cups of rice, a giniling and an egg and by 11am, I ordered 1 cup of rice and a chicken. I was indulged by both meals but the price was not good.
After the initial discussions in the IMCI room, we had gone to the 6th floor for our ocular observation. Mrs. Dacuno had shown us the location of where to put this and where to get that. I was amazed on some of the rooms which can be preceived outside as small.
I liked everything! I will be handling a newborn tomorrow instead of the mother since the mother are sometimes shy or uncomfortable seeing a male student. At 1:45pm, we copied some entries in the chart of the patients. The ones we copied are our guide for tomorrow. Mars. Dacuno gave us an NES (Nursing endorsement sheet). We have to keep it safe from any physical damage unless we want some deductions in the end. We are dismissed at 2:10pm.
I was on the way home at 2:30pm. I got home at 3:00pm and started doing some internet works. By 4 to 5pm, I had a good conversatin with my old high school friend, Aubrey Iral. She told me what’s life in the states and how she miss Philippines so much. She have to sleep that’s why our conversation was cut.
I had also the opportunity to have a competition against Hazel Blanco. She is also one of my high school friends and that competition is to test who is the fastest in making comments in my profile. It seems I failed to finish what I’d started since I have to do school works and reviews. I finished eating but the data to be reviewed wasn’t available yet in the yahoo group I am into.
I am expecting it to appear at 10pm. A smile can change ones emotions.
GOOD NIGHT!

I woke up in a rainy morning. It was 9am but the rain poured fast and streets flooded. It was 10am that the rain temporarily stopped and my confidence for a good weather was developing until the clock strike 11:30am. I was now going to school that time but I had this bad feeling that became a reality. The storm strike again and this time it is worst. I was stranded for 15 minutes under the bridge with passengers, students and barters. I decided to go through the rain without an umbrella. My umbrella was destroyed from the violent wind right at me. I reached the FX terminal soaked and wet without anyone to share my misery. I rode an FX with few passengers in it. Luckli, I spotted Jezel and she sat by my side until we reached school.
The FX reached a very flooded destination. We have no choice but to go through the rain once more. I was once again wet from the rain. I got up to 6th floor knowing classes are still continued. I was in a relief that I am not the only one who was wet. I have my classmates to start with. I am hoping that the rain will stop because it looks like from the inside that the rain is getting much worst. The class for Dr. Alfonso started at 2pm. He said to us that the classes in all levels for Makati Medical Students will be cancelled at 3pm. The class continued. Some of my classmates entered the room with no stockings for the girls.
The classes ended at 3pm and I bought anew umbrella at Watsons. I reached home at 4pm and decided to have a hgaircut at 6pm. The umbrella that I had bought before was now ruined. I cannot believe that umbrella that costs 100 pesos is not quality managed. Anyway, I got a good hair cut and paid 40 pesos. I bought 2 capsules of centrum that did not take long. I went back home to complete my requirements for tomorrow’s duty in the 6th floor Makati Medical Center bed side duty. I was done at 7pm and I wish the day will end today.
My father will not be arriving this night because he have a lot of repauirs to do in his work. I have to understand his condition and I am responsible for what was left in house.
I will be sleeping at 9:30pm because I will be waking up at 4am. It will be a grand vacatiob if I would not come at 5:30am tomorrow.
GOOD NIGHT!

It was a plain morning and I am doing what I used to before school. I left home at 8am and had a smooth ride from jeepney to FX but in the middle of the ride in the FX, trrafic accumulated. I waited for 30 minutes inside the FX to reach my destination. Anyway, we have only 1 class this morning and that subject is N201 with Mrs. Celiz. I reached at 9:30am and everything look well inside class.
At 10am, Mrs. Celiz gave us our quiz and I guess and hope I have a 90% there. After the quiz, Mam Celiz ask us to prepare for our video presentation on Spina Bifida. We are the first to present. We are assigned to the infancy stage of spina Bifida. Our video was mostly composed of pictures and few captions but it is well understood by half of the class. We received a clap at the end of the presentation so as the other group’s presentation. When group 2’s turn to present, it looked pretty well and informative but when the question and answer portion started Louise Dimalanta had a slip of the tongue which I understand very well. I don’t know why the people on my right side gave remarks which is a bit sad. Anyway, most of the group’s presentation are informative and creative. They deserved a 90% grade all in all.
The class ended after the last question and answer. I left school with Jezel and Issay. I had a head ache that time and conversation was unlikely to be enjoyed because tof my condition. We decided to ride the bus to Market! Market! It gave us time to sleep and relax from a fairly busy morning. I reached market! market! still in slight pain but tolerable enough to reach our home safe and sound.
I got home at 3pm. I fixed my self from the travel. I was worn out but my determination was powerful to overcome by sleepiness. I started reviewing for the quiz tomorrow on Pathophysiology on 4pm. I was still having painful head aches but it was relieved after an hour by increasing fluid intake. It was a very long review that did not finished because at 9pm, I received a text message that says that the quiz will be cancelled due to the unfinished questionnaire. I was happy but still in doubt of the news. After a few minutes, I find out that Jen Mateo was the one who sent the messages. Jen is a reliable president that’s why stop reviewing.
Now, I am listening to my favorites songs in Imeem!!!
One news from a reliable source changes greatly the future for the believer but for those who denies its validity, his future is going to uncertainty.
A man who failed to accomplish at least one goal at the end of the day had done nothing to make his day worth living.
Seeing someone betraying you is worst that seeing someone hating you
Good night!

It has been a very cold morning since I woke up this day. I prepared my self since 5am and left school at about 7am. I reached school and I’m surprised that we have no class for N201 under Mr. Lucas. Classes under him will start next week. We were relieved because we have a lot of time to study for our quiz at 10am to Mrs. Celiz. I reviewed for 1 hour and turned to daydreaming until 10am. Mam Celiz arrived in class at 10am. She asked us to have a 1.4 sheet of yellow paper. We started the 12 items quiz. In the end, I got 10/12. I was contented with the score I had since I have no idea to the last item shown to us. The class poceeded and it ended at 12 noon.
At 12noon, I went to the student’s lounge with some of my friends and classmates. It was Leslie’s birthday and she have no idea that we prepared something for her. I was hungry at noon and I ordered my lunch before the celebration started. Issay and Jannic bought a boucquae of flowers and a mocha cake for leslie. They are done buying at 1pm. I was chosen as the “macho dancer” hahaha! for leslie’s birthday with a blue ribbon over my head. It was extremely funny once you’d seen me wear that in person. It was time and the cake and flowers was presented first and the cheers of greetings over flow the lounge. I was outside embarrassed as passer by stared at me. I am starting to perspire that time. It was bout time that Jannic entered the scene. I do my crazy dance and most laughed.
Leslie received a big picture frame and a picture of her with a flower in the middle of the frame. The labels were great, “the sexiest animal in the world” which is ideal in her picture there. We had take several pictures in her birthday in the student’s lounge and ate the cake we bought for her. The party was over at 2pm and we gone straight to the industrial clinic. I would be going there to have a prescrip-tion of glycopyrrolate but unluckily it is not available in the Philippines. I left the clinic sad.
I took my chances and visited mercury drug to find the drug I was looking for but the doctor said is true Glycopyrrolate is not available anywhere in the Philippines. I reached home in a slightly cloudy sky and started doing my review for tomorrow’s quia to Mrs. Celiz again. It was about 7:45pm that I was done with the review. Actually classes for Mr. Briones was not made because he have to attend a seminar. I guess the make up classes will be our additional debt.
It has been a rainy evening and it had 2 brownouts. The house was flooded from the terrible rain and I am still reviewiong at that time that’s why I failed to help significantly. Classes for tomorrow will start at 10am. I am so happy that It will be a one subject class tomorrow. It would be a good rest for me since I’d done a lot last week.
Good night!
